St Joseph’s Villa. Founded in 1834, St. Joseph’s Villa is one of the longest continuously operating children’s nonprofit organizations in the United States. Richmond Animal League. RAL is led by a volunteer board dedicated to reducing euthanasia rates in the community, and has been finding homes for homeless dogs and cats in the Richmond area since 1979 www.ral.org
