How to Consign

Consignment Policy

We accept consignments Tuesday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM, by appointment only.

Cannon’s Auctions sells a wide range of personal property, including antiques, collectibles, jewelry, furniture, decorative accessories, ceramics, glass, rugs, artwork, tools, appliances, books, ephemera, coins, currency, stamps, and sports equipment. We also accept office furniture and most household goods of value.

All consignments are screened before acceptance. Some items cannot be accepted for auction based on condition, category, or market demand.

Remember: Clean goods are worth more money!

Items We Do Not Accept

  • Rugs or furniture with odors, heavy stains, pet damage, mold, or food residue

  • Particle board or flat-pack furniture (e.g., kit-form computer desks and workstations)

  • Box springs, mattresses, or used bed linens

  • Used clothing, except vintage or period designer labels

  • Everyday kitchenware, miscellaneous décor, glassware, battered pots and pans, Tupperware — these are better donated to Goodwill

  • Stuffed or plush toys (except collectible Steiff)

  • Outdated media such as VCRs, DVD players, cassette decks, tapes, or similar electronics

  • Appliances, electronics, and power tools that do not work correctly, lack cords or batteries, or show rust or corrosion.

  • Pornographic material of any kind

  • Silverplate items, except for complete flatware services

  • Artwork that is not original, limited edition, or signed and numbered

  • Liquids such as perfumes, cleaning agents, or chemicals

  • Newspapers or paperback books

  • Empty picture frames

  • Single dining chairs or single lamps (unless particularly unique)

  • Computer parts or accessories

  • Entertainment centers or large media cabinets
